Shipping Policy

Everything is made to order and ships within 1-3 weeks. Order changes can only be made within 24 hours after placing an order by emailing help@fictionalthreads.com. Please review order details after receiving your confirmation email.

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that I have received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. 

Keep in mind the production time when entering a shipping address. Address changes are not guaranteed after a certain period of time. Once your order is handed off to the postal carrier I am no longer responsible for your package. It will be the customer's responsibility to contact the postal service to resolve any issues. 

 

How can I track my order?

A tracking number will be provided to you in your Shipping Confirmation email once I fulfill your order. You may use the number and track your order using the link below:

Your shipment was received and the acceptance of your package is pending. What does this mean?

It means I have dropped your package off at the post office and they're processing it on their end.

 

USPS says package was delivered but you didn't receive it. What now?

If USPS states that your package is delivered but you have yet to receive it, it is the customer's responsibility to reach out to their local post office for further information regarding the package. Asking your post office would be the quickest way to get a response but you can also file a missing mail help request form on their website using the link below:

International Shipping

Please be aware of the possibility of a package going missing when choosing a shipping rate. Once the package gets handed over to a third party mail service I am no longer responsible for your package. It is up to you to track it down and resolve any issues. As everything is made to order there are no refunds or returns.

By choosing a higher-priced shipping option during checkout, most carriers will include faster delivery speed as well as updated tracking and insurance when handling your package. Lower-priced options although more affordable can not guarantee delivery or include updated tracking when going through the delivery system. Please keep this in mind as the responsibility of tracking and locating your package will be the customer's responsibility after it has been handed over.

As everything is made to order there are no returns or refunds for any reason. 

USPS tracking may or may not update after it leaves the US. Tracking is only for USPS. For international orders, USPS will hand off the package to a third party that will handle the delivery. If your tracking does not update, the customer will have to contact their local postal service for further information. By providing the post office with your USPS tracking number, your local postal service should be able to help you locate your package or provide you with information on the estimated delivery. 


Customs Fee/Charges

Any added custom fee or charges your country may or may not charge when receiving your package will be the customer's responsibility. It is not included in the shipping charged during checkout. I am not responsible for any other customs or VAT fees once the order arrives in the destination country. This will be a separate fee that may be collected by the postal service handling your delivery.
