Shipping Policy

Hiya, first of all, thank you so much for the support!! 🤗

Everything is made to order and ships within 1-3 weeks. Order changes can only be made within 1 hour after placing an order by messaging me on Instagram @fictional.threads or emailing support@fictionalthreads.com. Please review order details after receiving your confirmation email.

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that I have received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information.

What is made to order?

Every item is embroidered just for you after you place an order. Once your order comes in, I purchase the blank garment from a wholesale apparel supplier. After picking it up, I bring it home and get to work embroidering your piece. This process helps reduce waste and makes each piece feel more personal but it also means it takes a little extra time before your item ships.

Where do orders ship from?

I'm based in the US and all order ship from Georgia.

Your tracking says shipment created but no update yet- what does this mean?

This means your order is in pre-shipment — the shipping label has been created, but I haven’t dropped it off with the postal service just yet. Don’t worry! Your tracking will update shortly once it’s been scanned in.

Your shipment was received and the acceptance of your package is pending. What does this mean?

It means I’ve dropped your package off at the post office, and they’re currently processing it on their end. Tracking will update once they’ve officially scanned it in.

Need to make changes to an existing order? 
Order changes are not guaranteed. Please review the confirmation email after completing your purchase to ensure the correct item, size, and shipping address. If an order needs to be changed, please message me on Instagram @fictional.threads or email support@fictionalthreads.com within 1 hour. All emails will be responded to as quickly as possible. Keep in mind: 
-When sending an email please provide your order number, the name on the order, and shipping address entered to locate your order quickly.
Note: During holiday seasons (Thanksgiving/Christmas), order processing may take 2-15 business days.

Need to change your shipping address?
For address changes please email support@fictionalthreads.com as soon as possible. I can not guarantee any address changes after a certain period. Once your order is handed off to the postal carrier I am no longer responsible for your package. It will be the customer's responsibility to contact the postal service to resolve any issues. Keep in mind:
-When sending an email please provide your order number, shipping address entered and name to locate your order quickly.
-Please include the entire shipping address including street name, city, state, and zip code that you would like it changed to (including apartment or building number).

How can I reschedule my missed delivery?
You will need to contact the postal service handling your delivery directly. Once your package is handed over I am no longer responsible for  delivery logistics.

Do you ship overseas?
Yes! I currently ship to select international countries. If you’re unable to check out your cart, please message me on Instagram @fictional.threads or send me an email at support@fictionalthreads.com and I'll do my best to help. Please note that international customers are responsible for any customs fees or import taxes upon delivery. 

Why is my package being returned to sender?
A package can be returned due to a few reasons. Below are the most common:
-Insufficient or incomplete address
-Missing apartment/unit number 
-Incorrect zip code, city, or street
-Carrier is unable to deliver the package

What do I do if my package was returned to sender?
For U.S. orders: If your package is returned to me, I’ll contact you once I’ve received and reviewed it. If the return was due to a customer error, you’ll be responsible for purchasing a new shipping label.

For international orders: Undeliverable packages are typically returned to the shipping provider's facility and may be disposed of. These orders cannot be replaced or refunded as they do not get returned to me.

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order, as I cannot accept responsibility for incorrect shipping information once a package has been shipped.
